Creativity for me, is about being open to new ideas, curiosity, experimentation, and also self development. Now structuring ideas is easier with AI and creativity needs some structure, in general, in my opinion.
AI tools are efficient but can’t replace real creativity in a sense that AI can’t make emotional connections. But we can form these deep connections with our authentic style and storytelling skills.
I feel like this is a time when we can let our imagination run wild, and even create weirder stuff than ever before. :) But, for this to happen, it is crucial to believe in and develop our creativity. AI can speed up our creative process, but I think we now have more time, and it is crucial to experiment with and shape our complex ideas, which can lead to more refined visual solutions.
Understanding our concepts is very important.
Spending quality time on creative thinking and experimentation is the key factor because designers must abstract and analyze a lot during the creative process to reach a clear result. Our job involves intuitive decision-making, and design strategy is formed during this process. It requires focused time and energy. We need this time to monitor our feelings and ideas, and it's a beautiful journey in my opinion. Through this method, you can realize even better solutions than you originally wanted. Innovation happens at those random moments.
Also, if you go through on your own creative process, it means you will believe in your own concept much more and then you can communicate it efficiently. You will see why is it working or why not. Ai is a great tool that can help in many aspects, but it also can gives us visual solutions without leading you through on your intuitive decision making process.
And among the quickly changeable, replaceable trends, you can quickly get lost or get overwhelmed if you do not have your own concept, your own style.
So, I think it is time to take our ideas, feelings, and energy very seriously in creative making. And I truly believe in the importance of slowing down and working with our intuition and experimenting a lot, even to make mistakes. This will give us remarkable visual results. It is more important than ever to be a professional in our field. This is because our sensitivity and experience provide a critical perspective.
